This paper investigates some of the difficulties in describing and using the nomenclature of science communication within a UK context.

Why is it important?

This research is important as it highlights the need for a clear and consistent language to be used when talking about science communication. Not doing so can potentially confuse and alienate other researchers, and more work is needed to help to develop universal and usable terminology.
