Why is it important?

In order to bring treatments to patients we think the research we need to do is not being done and hence the recommendations we proposed. The diseases described are both rare and currently there are no treatments. We would encourage readers to learn more about these diseases.

Perspectives

This work laid the foundation for a later summary of CMT initiatives.
