Why is it important?

This case discusses difficult management issues with a complex patient with pheochromocytoma and how he was managed for tumor excision and bridged to receive a donor heart. Catecholamine excess was thought to cause his STEMI and heart failure which did not reverse with tumor excision

Perspectives

This is a unique case which required a multidisciplined approach to end with a successful outcome
