What is it about?
GBV occurs in most societies and the majority of survivors are women and girls. GBV could be perpetrated in multiple ways, involving sexual, physical, emotional and economical and social dimensions. A large majority had suffered emotional and economic violence, physical and sexual violence were also common. There is a need to increase public awareness about GBV.

Why is it important?
All care seekers who attended these two centers were women and hardly men attended. To increase awareness among the public of their right to be not subjected to GBV, and also about the availability of GBV care centers.
