What is it about?

It is cross-sectional research on the prevalence of vaccine hesitancy in our population in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and assessment of the predictors for vaccine hesitancy attitude among parents based on SAGE Working Group on Vaccine Hesitancy's matrix.

Why is it important?

Considering that vaccination is said to be a victim of its own success, this study tries to find out the possible reasons for parents to be hesitant about vaccines in our community.

Perspectives

This is a single-centre study and might not reflect the exact situation in the country especially it was in an urban-based centre which might not reflect the rural sentiments.
