Perspectives

People are generally unaware that a lazy eye is a normally functioning eye: it has just become sleepy due to not being used by wearing appropriate glasses from early childhood. Doctors mostly believe that it cannot be treated after the age of 6-8 years. However, this study proves that amblypia is a fully treatable condition at any age.
