What is it about?

In Kiribati, malnutrition is the leading cause of death for children aged less than 5 years. This study is a unique study which was conducted in Kiribati regarding under 5 years old malnourished children with respect to contributing factors to malnutrition (breastfeeding, complementary feeding, dietary practice and immunization) on South Tarawa in Kiribati.

Why is it important?

This paper provides an opportunity to disseminate and think about the current children malnutrition status in Pacific and specifically in Kiribati. It will also give an idea to other researchers to follow the results of this study and develop research projects which fill the gap of knowledge highlighted by this study in future.

Perspectives

As there is paucity research about mothers perception on malnutrition children in Pacific I believe this paper is very important and I am so happy to publish it in a high rank journal.
