What is it about?
Acute Pulmonary Embolism has a high mortality if not detected and treated early. This case report focuses on a presentation of acute pulmonary embolism that resembled Coronary Artery Disease. The initial EKG obtained in this case looked like that of individuals with Coronary Artery Disease. We were eventually able to make the correct diagnosis. This case indicates the need to be very careful with patients whose presentation looks like Coronary Artery Disease and make sure there is no embolism as well.
