What is it about?

Every year archaeologists create a wealth of spatial information from fieldwork and research including scientific analysis. Creating the framework, standards and infrastructure to collate store and publish data from the many organisations and individuals would deliver significant efficiencies and saving for researchers and those involved with the stewardship of our shared cultural heritage. Yet we consistently fail in realising the potential of that data.
