Why is it important?
HIV-infected smokers are at relatively higher risk of cancer and suffer from more severe forms of cancer than HIV-infected non-smokers/ general non-smokers. This review highlights different kinds of cancers prevalent in HIV-smokers and their progression over the past two decades.
Perspectives
The review gives a clear picture about how certain cancers have been alleviated or progressed over the years in HIV-1 smokers. I am hopeful this review can be resourceful for research groups interested in HIV-smokers and cancer.
