Why is it important?

Migrant workers are vulnerable to various problems including socioeconomic and health problems. Many of them could not access to quality health services when needed. These problems are not only the migrant themselves but also the local population. Knowing the situation and the related causes could help relevant sectors to improve the situations.

Perspectives

This study is one of few studies conducted among migrant workers in the Northeast. The finding have raised awareness on health and the accessibility problems as well as some structural problems.
