What is it about?

Open Online Courses allow free access to self-paced courses in a range of areas in Public Health which are often not covered in Masters degrees. Peoples-uni has developed a suite of these to help build global capacity in Public Health.

Why is it important?

The courses cover a wide range of Public Health issues for a wide international audience, and have been well received by large numbes.

Perspectives

I hope that the paper explains the potential for online education in this format, as an alternative to MOOCs, and will stimulate others to do the same
