What is it about?
COVID-19 Drug discovery article which has two strategies of finding the suitable drugs for the treatment. First strategy involved drugs from the drug repurposing view and the second involved screening of the natural products database. We, Professor Hector and myself, have found two drugs already in use for some other diseases Atavaquone and Allegra along with some natural compounds in silico that might help in the treatment of COVID-19 treatment.

Why is it important?
Drugs found, especially Atavaquone and Allegra, through this study has already been in use for other diseases. These drugs could be used for the treatment of COVID-19 disease since these are approved drugs and there are no drugs found showing 100% activity against COVID-19.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure in collaboration with Professor Hector. It is an efficient collaboration. I hope the findings help everyone to cope with the disease.
