Why is it important?

This species doesn't match any of the species in the Butterflies of Micronesia Book (Schreiner et al.). It is very important to study this invasive insect because it has been said to feed on breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis).

Perspectives

I had a great experience working with these great experts as this is my first article. We need the public's help in locating these host plants to prevent damage.
