What is it about?

Time-resolved X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and position-dependent X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) measurements on gels containing Co2+ and [Fe(CN)6]4−/[Fe(CN)6]3− ions.

Why is it important?

Detailed behavior of metal ions in the reaction−diffusion processes in gels and the local structures of Co-Fe-based Prussian blue analogs (PBA) formed there were clarified.

Perspectives

The data obtained in this work seem to be important for future applications of micro-fabrication of PBA-related devices.
