What is it about?
In the present work, GO has been deposited on Al by cathodic electrophoretic deposition for two purposes. The first one is to use facile, environmentally friendly and inexpensive EPD technique in aqueous media and at room temperature to deposit GO coating on Al (AlGO) and reduce GO coating (AlrGO) by thermal annealing at lower temperatures in comparison with other work. The second one is an investigation of corrosion resistance behavior of AlrGO by potentiodynamic polarization and EIS in 3.5% NaCl solution. It was also demonstrated that GO coating on Al inhibits the anodic reaction.
