Development and Pilot Testing of a Context-Relevant Safe Anesthesia Checklist for Cesarean Delivery in East Africa

What is it about?

Maternal mortality in East Africa is unreasonably high. We have developed a context relevant safe anesthesia for cesarean delivery checklist to assist anesthesia providers in saving mothers lives during childbirth. This paper outlines the process of its development and the initial implementation and testing of the checklist.
