Time-delay interactions

What is it about?

We introduce a quite simple approach for finding interactions between dynamical systems with time-delay. The idea is to use symbolise the time series and to quantify symbolic traces.

Why is it important?

In contrast to many other methods for studying causal couplings, the introduced approach works well for non-stationary data as common for biological or geophysical signals.
