Why is it important?
This formula is unique and simple; it has a lot of potential to be used when is not possible to measure porosity to the desire scale.
Perspectives
This is a very important equation that can be used in scaling problems. This paper shows an example on how to use it. More tests (in 2D and 3D images) are needed to verify the range of its applications. We are working in a second paper that intent to start to cover some crucial tests.
