What is it about?

The study was aimed at finding the differences and the reasons that led to these changes. This was done by genetic testing on blood samples from both mothers and newborn. Most commonly identified factor in our research was the poor living conditions of the pregnant mother.

Why is it important?

Growing up and working in a region with such high population rates, there is very less awareness to family planning and the adverse effects of poverty on the children born in such conditions. Effects like these should be inquired and propagated to increase the general awareness of how an ideal living condition and healthy environment is good for the pregnant mother and the baby in her womb as well.
