What is it about?

Recurrent exacerbations in patients with moderate or severe asthma are the major causes of morbidity, mortality and medical expenditure.This study has tried to determine the major predictors of acute asthma attack in asthmatic patients.

Why is it important?

Our findings showed that this days, the milestone for long-term asthma management is to prevent exacerbations/ exacerbating factors.

Perspectives

Writing this article has given me a great pleasure and experience. The research question the article tried to answer is also very critical as asthma is currently becoming one amongst the many lethal diseases in the research area and thus this article has pointed out some of the mechanisms to minimize its exacerbation and there by mortality.
