What is it about?
The study explores and report other interventions that can be given in addition to ART to improve the health of PLH. Its True that HIV medication( antiretrovirals (ART)improve tremendously the health of PLH however we need to look at other interventions to add on ART to make the lives of PLH better. This paper presents an intervention known as NAMWEZA( NAM meaning I Can, and WEZA meaning Do it) in Swahili language, that addresses psychological issues of PLH and increase hope, future anticipation and planning in addition to ART among PLH

Why is it important?
The intervention is simple and can be afforded in many countries. Most importantly , even though the clinical outcomes were not changed by this intervention, it reduced lost to follow up rates among thos who received it, Lost to follow up is the most difficult challenge that many ART programs are facing This means programs can adapt this model to improve patients retention
