What is it about?

We estimated that 69% of French adults have ever heard of cannabidiol (CBD) and that 10% have ever used it. Less than half of the former considered it harmful. Younger, smoker and adults with poorer health status were more likely to have used it. We found four different profiles of French CBD users.

Why is it important?

Cannabidiol-based products are proliferating. They may be beneficial of harmful according to users' profile and pattern of use. Reporting such an extent of use and a diversity of users' profile highlight the need for an access to safe products and reliable CBD-related informations.

Perspectives

I hope that this article would participate in ensuring proper access to proper CBD-based products in France in the future.
