Why is it important?

diabetic patients often have platelet dysfunction. Therefore, after coronary intervention, dual antiplatelet therapy may not be sufficient in such patients. Triple antiplatelet therapy is a better choice.

Perspectives

This research is about the selection of a better antiplatelet regimen in type 2 diabetic patients after percutaneous coronary intervention.
