What is it about?

Since the Polyphenols (including Proanthocyanidin) compounds are controlled genetically by on/off mechanism for building certain enzymes (proteins) that forms the biosynthetic pathway for these compounds, we designed short DNA fragments paste at the beginning of these enzymes genes (primers). Although every creature in the world have its own special genome, sometimes 99% will be similar between certain genes among plants or animal, especially if they are form the same family classification. So, we used this information to create universal primers for Rosaceae family.
