What is it about?

SNP is a primary cause of cancer, but how it mediates cancer is not well known. In this study, we suggested that SNP mediated DNA methylation that might mediation aberrant gene expression that results in cancer formation.

Why is it important?

We have found the limited number of genes associated with SNP enriched in cancer as well as DNA mecthyation enriched in cancer.

Perspectives

I have applied PCA based unsupervised FE to various problems. In this study, I tried to demonstrate that this methodology is also useful for the integrated analysis of SNPs and DNA methylaton.
