What is it about?
Meditation trains the mind to be calm, and mindful and it helps to maintain a good health. In this study, we examined the studies which had observed the effects of meditation on human ageing and seek whether all these studies had the same findings. This study reveals how meditation affect to the longevity of healthy people.

Why is it important?
Most of the people in the present world, are suffering from stress and stress is a leading factor of ageing. Meditation reduces stress via training a stable and calm mind and creating emotional stability. Meditation is also used as a complementary and alternative medicine for various disease conditions. This study will guide the readers to realise the importance of practising meditation.
