Quick method for detecting drug resistance-associated DNA

What is it about?

In this work I tried to find out how I could improve the analysis of pieces of DNA that can cause resistance in bacteria. To do so I updated an existing technique to improve handling times and accuracy and sensitivity.

Why is it important?

With this tool we can study the spread and amount of drug resistance in bacterial samples.
