Why is it important?
APACHE II and SOFA score are strong predictor of mortality , because high APACHE II and SOFA scores used as a aid to assess the severity of illness and bad chronic health status of the patients and also provides the prognostic information , which was useful for clinician to assess the outcome of patients.
Perspectives
Sepsis is primary cause of mortality in ICU patients. APACHE II and SOFA score able to predict the morbidity , length of ICU stay , assessment of performance and patients prognosis and guiding care and also able to predict budget of patients .
