What is it about?
In this large contemporary population, individuals with poor lifestyle and high genetic risk were more likely to develop adult-onset asthma. There was interaction between genetic risk and lifestyle behaviors, and the poor lifestyle had a greater effect than genetic risk. The current study emphasized the importance of early comprehensive intervention on lifestyle for asthma prevention especially those with high genetic risk.
