Why is it important?
Increases the understanding of the effects of vaping on the lung including the acute injury seen in EVALI.
Perspectives
Vaping has become increasing popular in the US with minimal safety studies. Various additives have been used including surreptitious additive of Vit E Acetate which is considered to be a primary cause of EVALI. Most of our EVALI cohort but not all vaped THC.
