Why is it important?

Marketing and public relations professionals from healthcare systems should be interested in knowing what other systems are doing to market their physicians and make choosing a new doctor easier for patients. Prior research shows that people want more personal information about doctors before deciding on one to visit. They also would like to see a video of a physician so they can know what to expect (e.g., demeanor of doctor) when they go to their first consultation.
