What is it about?
Hydrolysis of Al4C3 is unavoidable when exposed to moisture. Al4C3 containing MAX bulk materials (Ti3AlC2, Cr2AlC, and their composites) will pulverize at room temerpature due to the hydrolysis of Al4C3.
