What is it about?
In a survey of healthcare staff [n=431] from 53 New Zealand RAC facilities only 199 of 431 (47.2%) had formal palliative care training. Previous palliative care experience and the quality of the palliative care communications environment. predicted willingness to engage in more training. Higher scores for burnout predicted a decreased likelihood of engaging in formal palliative care training.
