Amorphous ribbons have excellent magnetic properties, which have potential application in motor industry. Our research was about the machining process, material properties of the core and the motor performance with amorphous cores.

Why is it important?
The different magnetic properties and its effects on the motor performance were important factors for the design, optimization and application of amorphous cores in motor industry. That were our points in our paper.
Perspectives
The results show that the iron loss of the switched reluctance motor with amorphous cores can be reduced 90% and efficiency can be improved 2% operating at the ratings.
