What is it about?
Archaeological investigations based on regional overview to obtain estimates of ancestral Pueblo people on three subregions within Middle San Juan region during Chacoan and post-Chaco times, ca. AD 1000-1300 show increasing population during Pueblo III period leading up to densest population in Pueblo III times. Much of the Pueblo III population was living in large villages and community centers, including post-Chacoan great houses that reflect continuation of Chacoan tradition at Aztec Ruins.
