Because learners tend to struggle in dealing with project complexity. It's the first study that takes account of complexity levels in analysing the effect of project management games on learners' decision making performance
Perspectives
I think this study is one of the pioneers of future research that integrates educational project management games and project complexity. Complexity and educational games are two popular subjects in project management. Why not combine them?
