Perspectives

I have met so many patients that have endured years of recurring DVT's, pain, and suffering. They have to continuously take medications because of these issues. It affects them physically, emotionally and economically. They go to numerous doctors trying to figure out why they are having so much pain and trying to find relief. And all of it was due to this syndrome. Sonographer's need to know how to recognize these symptoms and how to look for it sonographically so these patients can get answers and relief. May-Thurner Syndrome is easily treatable, but we must first find it so they can get the treatment they need!
