What is it about?

This article talks about the value of teaching students how to perform scrotal ultrasound using a small group setting and a phantom. Scanning testicles can be awkward and intimidating to new sonography students. Preparing students to use appropriate dialogue, role play and review scanning techniques on a mannequin provides the student with opportunity to learn without fear of error or discomfort.
