What is it about?
Diagnosis of intussusception can be difficult as it is often transient, thus the familiarity of this pathology's sonographic appearance is limited. In this case, the mass and the intussusception were diagnosed with sonography and abdominal computerized tomography. The patient went on to surgery, where the sonographic findings were confirmed. The patient was treated with hemicolectomy and adjuvant therapy.
