Why is it important?

It answers 5 questions- What does the research say about queer mental health? What are the pathways that contribute to mental health and distress for this group? Are existing health systems able to address mental health care needs? What are some interventions that have been studied to work with this group? What are research gaps that exist?

Perspectives

It was important for me as a queer mental health professional and researcher to do this to understand where we are at, so that we can work systematically towards addressing the research and treatment gap for this group.
