This article attempts to explore the process of exclusion related to various aspects of social life of the SC population and also illustrates the mechanisms that are obstacles on the path of inclusive development

Why is it important?
The concept of social exclusion viewed in the framework of capability deprivation that involves the denial of opportunities in multiple spheres of social life that exist in different forms. Understanding such an experience of deprivation that impoverishes human lives and well-being in an absolute way are important for the advancement of the theory and effective intervention strategies.
Perspectives
The experience of writing this article deepening my knowledge and enhanced my understanding the gravity of the issues pertaining to the SC population over a period. This article certainly contributes to look at the issues from new perspective when state made enormous effort for inclusive development, but new forms of exclusion emerged in various aspects of their life, that too more intensive in the contemporary society. I hope this article may serve for the benefit of those interested in doing further research.
