Why is it important?

Saudi-Iran ties are important for variety of reasons like oil production/prices, regional peace, stability , security and terrorism. From Cold War to active all out support to its allies is a fact for both. It shows limits to their foreign policy options and how the cost is escalating to both. It shows decision making structures and politics involved in it.

Perspectives

Have been closely studying Saudi -Iran ties for quite sometime. I believe that both states have been there in 80s but had to compromise. There's a pattern emerging and both have to restore near normalcy in ties otherwise it hurts both.
