What is it about?
The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) between Iran and the P5+1 was signed on July 14, 2015. The JCPOA essentially places safeguards and verification thereby blocking all possible routes Iran can pursue to build nuclear weapons. The agreement successfully alleviates global concerns about Iran building a nuclear weapon, and opens up the possibility of collaboration to tackle the challenges faced by the region as a whole.
