Why is it important?
This paper explains more of the process of how we have used CWA to compare similar systems than the later paper. Its worth reading for that information.
Perspectives
This is part of Justin St. Maurice's PhD work. Comparative CWA was triggered by the frustrations of wondering why one system works well and one doesn't. There are philosophical ties here to resilience engineering and Safety II in our thinking.
