What is it about?
A sincere effort is made through this work wherein efforts of Indian Law Institute in Legal Education is highlighted. This premier institution was meant solely for development of legal research in India. Since its inception it has done some wonderful initiatives which has paved way for the need of more such institutions across India. Sadly, due to multiple reasons it has not lived up to the expectations. The way it has been handled over the years has caused further concerns. This review will reflect as to when and where it all went bad, besides what needs to be done to reassure the similar faith in an institution which has done brilliant work since its inception.

Why is it important?
It is important for sincere scholars who have one or other way associated themself with Indian Law Institute. It reflects the sad story of Indian institutions which care less for research in modern era of legal education. Unless earnest efforts are not initiated from those who show concerns for the bad state of legal education in India, it would be a case of lost opportunity.
