Dhruba Kumar Gautam – Professor at Tribhuvan University (TU) Faculty of Management - did his Ph. D. in Strategic Human Resource Management (2009), obtained dual degree in Masters-MBA and MPA, and diploma in Changing Perspectives on Culture from Stockholm University, School of Business, Sweden and Bachelor’s in Education and Management. He worked as being Adjunct Professor at Asian Institute of Management- (AIT) Thailand and Visiting Professor at Dong-A University, South Korea. He started his career of teaching to MBA/EMBA since 1993 at TU, and involved to teach M. Phil from 2010 and supervising their dissertations along with Ph. D. scholars. He has published few text books in management and some articles in peer reviewed International Journals ( Emerald; Sage; Inderscience; Bloomberg) besides research paper published from Nepal. Dr. Gautam- founding secretary cum executive director of Nepalese Academy of Management (NAM) has coordinated 1st and 2nd and 3rd International Conference; 1st Doctoral Consortium and Faculty Development Program at Kathmandu. He is associated with some International Academic forums like: Academy of International Business (AIB), Academy of Management (AOM), Indian Society of Labour Economics (ISLE), Indian Academy of Management (IAoM), International Federation of Scholarly Association of Management (IFSAM), and International Human Resource Management (IHRM). He is serving being Managing Editor of The International Journal of Nepalese Academy of Management, editorial board member of International Journal – Asian Journal of Business and Management Science; and Advisory Editorial Board Member SIU Journal of Management (Shinawatra University Thailand). He actively participated and presented some papers in International conferences including ILO, APROS, ISLE, IAM, ICBC, ICMC, IFSAM, AIB, IHRM, APAM, JAM, and visited Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Thailand, China, Mongolia, South Korea, USA and almost all states of India. He is much interested to involve in international research / cross cultural research in collaboration with international researchers and associations. He served as a budget expert, expert member of revenue advisory committee, and member expert of economic policy advisory committee of Government of Nepal (2010-14).
