Why is it important?
The variable Bank FDI inflow in India has not been used previously. This study explores its determinants.
Perspectives
The previous studies have used foreign banks' asset share and number of branches of foreign banks to determines the reasons of foreign banks entry. However, this study contributes by using new variable bank FDI in India that makes lots of sense as bank FDI covers both greenfield investment and brown field investment.
