What is it about?
This study examines the downturn in commodity prices and slowing purchases of commodities by China as it moves to a domestic-driven economic growth model. It recommends that China makes digital innovation an important part of its cooperation with Africa as a means to reduce the damage to African economies reliant on commodity exports.
