Young people's perspectives on safety in the city

What is it about?

Young people are usually constructed as threats to safety in city public spaces. However, young people are themselves concerned about their own and others' safety in their neighbourhoods. This study discusses how young people define safety, what they identify as threats to safety, and what they prescribe for safety promotion in the city.
